So how do we work with you?
How we work is largely down to you. Usually we’ll start by having an initial chat and discuss what you have in mind and the amount of wall space you’re looking to cover with artwork.
Sometimes you’ll have a very tight brief for our artists to work to. For example:
- You might need the artwork to be created to the exact centimetre.
- You might choose to supply fabric swatches or pantone numbers for the artists to work to.
- You might like to forward several existing designs or artwork that you’d like your artist to use as reference or inspiration.
- You might even like your artist to re-create an existing piece of art, but with colours that match or complement your designs.
- Alternatively, you might give us a more open brief to allow the artist more freedom and creative license.
Once we’re agreed on all the details, we’ll place your commission with the appropriate artists.
From date of commission to delivery will take 4-6 weeks. We will send you photos of the artwork at various stages of completion. This keeps you up-to-date with progress and allows you to request alterations if necessary. Once you’ve given your final approval (usually 3-4 weeks after the date of commission) the canvases will need a further 2 weeks for the oils to dry sufficiently prior to delivery.
We arrange for the canvases to be either stretched or supplied with a suitable frame. They will then be delivered to your chosen address ‘ready to hang’.
